Experienced educator, musician, composer and digital media specialist. Creator of digital audio and visual projects across multi-channel media. Proficient in photographic and cine camera systems by Sony, Nikon l, Panasonic and Blackmagic as well as software including Sibelius, Dorico, ProTools, Logic Pro X, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects, InDesign, Lightroom, Davinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro and Blender. Selected media clients include BBC, European Union and the EUYO, Linn Records, OutHere Music, Orchid Classics, BBC Music Magazine, Corriere Della Sella, European Union Youth Orchestra and the Royal Academy of Music.Former producer and host of weekly podcast, TakeNote.As trombonist, a member of the European Union Youth Orchestra from 2015-18 and freelance musician in London, including a trial for principal trombone with BBC Concert Orchestra. Winner of the all Ireland music competition, the Catherine Judge Memorial Award, brass prizes at both the Royal College of Music (Constance Farrington Brass Prize) and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama (Armourer’s and Brasier’s Brass Prize) as well at the European Union Youth Orchestra’s Aleksander Pavlovic Award.From August, Head of Arts at GEMS Al Khaleej International School. Former Head of Brass across the three JESS (Jumeirah English Speaking School) Dubai schools. Responsible for growing and developing the brass department. This includes a Year 3 instrumental program implemented across Brass, Woodwind and Strings. Additional responsibilities include delivering media training to teachers, running 11 ECA’s per week ranging from orchestras, big band, wind bands, choir, live and studio based audio production. The last year has seen three large scale, music based video projects created for the school, the most recent featuring upwards of 200 students and over 150 tracks of audio, as well as a recording of the UAE National Anthem featuring the Secondary Orchestra and Choirs, which is played every morning.
