About Andrew McLean
Growing up in the construction industry, led me to explore an Engineering degree. I love building things and wanted to be part of the design process as well. I started my career in construction Project Management at a Heavy Civil construction company. I was fortunate to have had a wide variety of exposure to different projects from small pipe repairs to multi-million dollar downtown excavations and highway construction. I strongly believe that this experience greatly impacts my current design process in looking at it through a lens of constructability. From roadway designs to large scale developments, I thoroughly enjoy the challenge every day that comes with new projects and new constraints! I enjoy taking pride in my work and seeing a project through to completion. I know someday my kids will tell me they are tired of me pointing out the projects I have worked on, but I will never get tired of telling them.
