I believe that education, like the rest of the world, is always in motion. I constantly change and alter my approaches both mid-year, week, or even mid-class. I seek out innovative and cutting edge techniques and theories to incorporate into my ever-evolving pedagogy and am drawn to those who think the same. I am fixated on being prepared yet am flexible enough to break my plans if an opportunity arises. I seek to coach and instill excitement in my students with practical skills and knowledge for their futures and feed off of their success and accomplishments. I rarely use the same style, content, or assessments from one year to the next and spend my professional development time drafting new materials, approaches and techniques.
