About Andrew Merchant

Andrew Merchant is an investment associate based out of the Norfolk, Virginia branch. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certificant, a designation awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. He holds the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™, CRPC™ designation. Andrew started in the financial services industry in 2007. Andrew is committed to both Socially Responsible Investments (SRI), and Value Based Investments (VBI). He is able to sit with clients and arrange investments to match both their retirement goals and their value goals. These investments may be screened to either promote or exclude a number of different social and environmental causes. He also focuses on creating wealth management strategies including financial services such as home financing, college planning, and retirement planning. Andrew has given talks on a variety of topics in front of organizations including the Eastern Virginia Medical School, multiple environmental groups, and various civic leagues all across Hampton Roads. Andrew is a lifelong resident of Virginia and graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond. He currently resides in Virginia Beach.
