About Andrew Messer

I was born in Franklin, Indiana but grew up in Edinburgh, Indiana. I graduated Southwestern Jr/Sr High School in Shelbyville, Indiana. I graduated from Indiana University with a Computer Science BS degree. What I love to do is hang out with my wife and friends, play sports and video games, help others, and teach myself new things! I will always go out of my way to help others if they need it. I aspire to be great so I always challenge myself when I can. I love technology and how fast it is growing so I try to keep myself updated with anything new. I taught myself how to code on Android using Kotlin for a couple years and made an app of my own, although it is not on the Google Play store I had fun creating it. I am currently teaching myself how to use Unity to create my own video game! I currently work at Blue Horseshoe Solutions Inc. Part of Accenture as a Senior Technical Consultant and I love what I do. Accenture acquired Blue Horseshoe in 2022 so now we are a part of them! Working at Blue Horseshoe has helped me grow tremendously. I started out just being a normal developer on a project. After learning the programming language (X++) quickly I was able to be the lead developer on a project. Once I proved myself on many different projects as the lead developer I was able to become the tech lead on a project which enabled me to manage and lead other developers.
