I’m currently VP of AML Compliance at GardaWorld, where I built and now lead Canada’s first AML/ATF program for the armoured car sector — ensuring alignment with regulatory obligations under the Proceeds of Crime (Money Laundering) and Terrorist Financing Act. Before joining Garda, I was Head of AML & Payments at Questrade Financial Group, supporting the securities dealer, portfolio manager, trust & loan company, and other regulated entities across the enterprise. I’ve also served as Chief Compliance Officer at BMO InvestorLine, and worked as a regulatory examiner at what is now CIRO. Across these roles, I’ve led the development of enterprise-wide programs, managed audit and exam response, and escalated high-risk gaps through structured governance processes — ensuring transparency and accountability at every level. With nearly two decades in financial services, I contribute to public-private working groups with FINTRAC and Finance Canada, the FATF as part of the Canadian delegation, and speak at Osgoode’s Certificate in Regulatory Compliance and Legal Risk Management. I focus on building AML systems that work in practice — and always value conversations that push the industry forward.
