So, what do I do? I'm a Strategic Communications and Public Relations Manager. Officially, my job is to create effective communications strategies for a variety of audiences to promote engagement, increase brand awareness, and increase attendees at events. Any time there’s a crisis, I creative an effective strategy so that the approach is handled diplomatically and swiftly to ensure minimal risk. But really? I’m creating engaging content for newsletters, social media, blog posts, and website content. I’m creating family-friendly, fun-filled events for stakeholders, donors, and the public. Which is a really fancy way of saying I’m chronically online finding inspiration and new ways to engage audiences. Every. Single. Waking. Moment. So really, my job is to elevate social media profiles that makes people want to engage. I create events that people want to attend and that reaches the objectives set for those events. I also ensure that organizations don’t participate in events that puts them at risk, whether reputational, financial, or otherwise.
