About Andrew Ngo

As a pharmacy practice resident at Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital, I provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to patients in various clinical settings, such as cardiology, critical care, infectious diseases, and ambulatory care. I also participate in quality improvement projects, medication safety initiatives, and interprofessional education and collaboration. I graduated with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Houston in May 2023, where I was recognized as Magna Cum Laude for my academic excellence. Before pursuing my PharmD, I worked as a certified pharmacy technician at Walgreens and a caregiver at Cathy Home Care, gaining valuable experience in community pharmacy and home health care. I have obtained certifications in pharmacy-based immunization delivery, advanced cardiovascular life support, and hospital pharmacy. I am passionate about advancing the practice of pharmacy and improving patient outcomes through evidence-based, patient-centered, and collaborative care.
