About Andrew Odonnell

For over the past seven years I have worked as an IT technician in several capacities, from call center support for Verizon to the Yale School of Management Extended EMBA Program. In all these roles I have provided exceptional service for all customers and colleagues while keeping a professional demeanor. In my present jobs I have taken on different aspects of leadership roles as somebody to come to for help or advice regarding any issues a coworker, supervisor, or customer may have. I also have an extensive background in volunteer work that includes community management, team building, and event planning. I am a security manager for Bronycon which funds charities through convention work and I help in coordinating the exhibition hall for one of the nation’s largest video game convention boasting over attendees’ multiple times a year. My professional goal is to break into the world of event management in order to transition online communities into the physical world through conventions, trade shows, and similar events.
