About Andrew Rae

Andrew Rae is a post-graduate Data Scientist from the University of Strathclyde (M.Sc, Data Analytics) and the University of Glasgow (M.Litt, Music Industries). He was the primary researcher & data analyst for the national ’What's Going On Now?’ project based at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and Creative Scotland HQ (Edinburgh). He has worked on royalty-automation projects for record companies and many independent specialist Reports for clients specialising in Big Data, including: Global Health Funding, Supplier Segmentation (Edrington); Optimisation (Archisen); and Database Management (Scottish Power). Andrew also has experience in marketing for artists and record companies working for London based record label Ninja Tunes and subsequently worked as a marketing co-ordinator for BUNAC. He currently holds the position as the Vice-Chair of Sound Thought Festival based in Glasgow and is a producer of Liquid Drum & Bass music.
