About Andrew Rotherforth

I am a senior at Kutztown, looking for an internship in social media. Throughout my time as an English major, I have been enthralled with the many ways that the written word can be interpreted. Even more fascinating is how what we do and say are based entirely upon the social context within which we perform these actions. How is it that saying or reading something in one setting or context can be completely different from another person's interpretation or even our own in a different context? To this end, social media is an incredible tool as it allows us to present an image of what we would like others to see. I have taken many survey courses of different genres of literature and gained experience writing in many environments including for social media. Now I would like to put the skills I have gained to use creating and maintaining an image for a company or group.
