About Andrew Rowan

With over 14 years of experience in the automotive industry, I am a Senior Engineer who leads technical development and analytical innovation in vehicle safety and noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH). I am passionate about creating smart, efficient vehicles that benefit the community and environment. As a Vehicle Safety Engineer at Ford Motor Company, I apply my CAE and test engineering skills to design and optimize structures, occupant and restraint systems in side impact crash scenarios. I also leverage my expertise in powertrain NVH to reduce structural vibration in engines, transmissions and drivelines. I have contributed to numerous projects that improved the safety and performance of Ford vehicles, exceeding regulatory standards and customer expectations. I am a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Victoria, demonstrating my high technical competency and strict adherence to high ethical standards.
