About Andrew Scott

Having worked across the product portfolio and in particular helped shape and implement Renault Trucks' efforts to decarbonise the commercial vehicle sector, I now have a similar remit in the bodybuilder sector with TVS Interfleet, with whom Renault Trucks developed the UK's first electric concrete mixer. Working with the senior team we have identified some product areas in the construction, distribution and LCV sectors in particular to prioritise. I continue to chair the SMMT Heavy Commercial Vehicle Technical Committee in my new role. I remain hugely honoured that my work to date was recognised with my nomination as one of Motor Transport's 'Decarbonisation Power Players' for 2023 and again in 2024, and continue to work within the eFREIGHT 2030 ZEHID consortium. Thanks to the many people across the industry, Government and other stakeholders who continue to work to create the most compelling case for decarbonisation and to deliver the change we all need.
