Experienced Microsoft SQL Server DBA with a strong background in Healthcare IT, Data Analytics, and Data Engineering, including 7+ years in leadership roles. I’ve spent the better part of my career building and optimizing resilient, high performance and secure SQL Server environments, delivering strong uptime, robust disaster recovery, and meeting demanding SLAs, while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards like HIPAA and aligning with certifiable security frameworks such as HITRUST. Along the way, I’ve partnered closely with developers, product engineering teams, and InfoSec on large-scale initiatives that improved disaster recovery response time, reduced our data center footprint, and helped transition legacy systems into scalable, cloud-native solutions. More recently, I’ve expanded my data engineering focus toward data protection strategies, regulatory compliance, and cloud governance. On the less technical side, I’m a lifelong New Englander who loves the outdoors, fresh and open-water fishing, chasing the snow all winter, and travel adventures with my family and our two dogs. I have a personal love for the White Mountains and the Downeast Maine region.
