About Andrew Sieg

Operations professional and entrepreneur building professional infrastructure for one of America's most overlooked asset classes: the owner-occupied home.I am the founder of NIHAM — the National Institute for Home Asset Management — a founding-stage standards body developing the certification frameworks, research publications, and policy proposals needed to establish residential home asset management as a recognized profession. Current work includes a white paper on the case for the profession and a policy brief proposing the Home Asset Savings Account (HAS), a tax-advantaged savings vehicle for home maintenance modeled on the HSA.I also serve as Owner of SiegHaus LLC, a residential home asset management practice and NIHAM's founding pilot practitioner. Through SiegHaus I work directly with homeowners to assess, plan, and manage their homes as the capital assets they are.My day job is Linehaul Supervisor at ABF Freight, where I manage transportation operations across regional networks — work that has sharpened my ability to build systems, lead teams, and solve complex logistical problems under pressure.I hold a B.S. from Liberty University and am completing an MBA. My background spans logistics, emergency management, and residential property services. If you work in home inspection, financial planning, real estate, insurance, or housing policy — I'd like to connect.
