I am a highly experienced senior Risk Consultant Professional and a qualified Chartered IT Professional with Data Analytics capability. Previously worked in Australia and then was brought in to establish a new service line for work in Aotearoa (New Zealand). Within 5 years, the service line achieved an average of least 30% organic growth year on year and captured 80% market share. My people, IT, business and risk management spans 20 years across different sectors including financial services sector, technology sector, utilities sector, local and federal government sectors. As an innovative leader that held former Executive roles and senior management roles in both consulting and social enterprise, I have proven success in growing and leading businesses. I have led implementation of SOX, 100 days integration, hardware and software procurement within organisation’s undergoing transformation and M&A. In addition, I helped multiple clients by overseeing the team in internal audit, risk assessment, compliance, software license reviews using advanced techniques such as data analytics. I gained great satisfaction from working with boards and senior leaders by having delivered valuable, actionable insights and to apply growth and learning mindsets with risk based decision framework to create safe work places of trust in an ever changing environment. My passion for risk culture and data doesn’t just stop there but I want to make a difference and I enjoyed challenging the status quo especially supporting vulnerable communities and making an impact. I have advocated for the disability community in New Zealand to break down the recruitment barriers and unleashed their full potential with my recent involvement in establishing The Cookie Project to become an award winning social enterprise. The initiative was acknowledged and well-received by former NZ PM Hon. Jacinda Ardern and the Minister for Disability Community during the launch of the world’s first award-winning food packaging that incorporated real-person traceability resulting in over new customers acquisition.
