Background

About Andrew Simon

With over two decades of experience in security, emergency services, and public service, I bring disciplined, and solutions-focused approach to every role I take on. Currently working as a Security Supervisor in a dynamic retail environment, I lead frontline teams in maintaining safety, supporting stakeholders, and ensuring a positive customer experience. My journey in the security industry began in 2016, following a career with the Australian Army and then the public section of the Department of Defence, where I held diverse roles in customer service, procurement, regional development, and contract management. These roles sharpened my skills in operational coordination, stakeholder engagement, and risk management. Alongside my professional career, I proudly served as a Volunteer Firefighter with the CFA for over 10 years, responding to emergencies, supporting communities, and fostering teamwork under pressure. Driven by integrity, resilience, and a strong sense of duty, I thrive in roles that require both leadership and collaboration. I’m always looking to connect with professionals who value security, service, and community impact.
