About Andrew Skora

I am a molecular-cellular PhD scientist, with a big picture focus on the interface between clinically relevant disease targets and protein engineering. My background in Cancer Immunotherapy, Genomics, and antibody discovery/engineering have led to a strong track record of success in Biopharma drug development, with multiple molecules on a clinical track, and 7(+) patents pending. In my current position as Sr Director of Translational Research and Discovery my responsibilities include design and coordination of pre-clinical studies in support of current and potential clinical targets, Biomarker strategy and execution, as well as supporting new target identification and due diligence concerns. Past experience in the laboratory of Drs. Bert Vogelstein and Ken Kinzler at Johns Hopkins University resulted in the development of a novel immuno-oncology platform, MANABODY, capable of targeting mutated intracellular proteins specific to tumor cells, this is currently being commercially developed.
