About Andrew Staggs

When I was ten years old, my Dad bought me my first guitar and my favorite part was always getting excited about creating something brand new. Regardless of the instrument or genre of music, each person creates there own unique style which simply cannot be replicated. There is no end to improving your craft having unique ideas. There is a strong degree of satisfaction when completed a finished product but it doesn't feel like work and more like the joy of success. Over the past six years in my role as an anti-money laundering investigator, it was my job to analyze patterns in customer transactions to determine if any potential illegal activity was occurring. While I enjoyed my time conducting investigations, I missed creating new things, solving abstract problems, and building relationships. These very things have always drawn me to my love for writing music and performing. I have since discovered my love for Software development as it not only allows for inventive solutions, but emphasizes a team-first approach. It is my goal to find a role as a software developer, join an innovative team, develop my skills, and solve real-world problems together.
