I have been under contract with Insurance companies as a special investigator and Safety Codes consultant. I was previously on assignment with the Alberta Energy Regulator (AER) as a professional investigation and Inspection consultant. Fully licensed Private Investigator under Alberta Justice and Solicitor General, currently hold Designation of Powers as a Safety Codes Officer (Inspections and Investigations) under the Safety Codes Act. I was the senior Fire Investigator and Safety Codes Officer for the City of Calgary Fire Department (CFD). I have worked closely with private and public agencies at fire and accident scenes for many years now and experienced in evaluation and assessment as well as many years of similar customer service experience. I am well educated (B.Sc. from McGill) and a published author; also one of the only Fire Investigation forensic experts in and around Calgary (qualified as an expert in Court of Queen’s Bench) as well as a very experienced Safety Codes expert in Alberta. I am familiar with many of the codes and legislation pertaining to Safety, Investigation, Insurance, liability and privacy of several provinces (primarily Alberta).
