About Andrew Thomases

Corporate leaders rely on my entrepreneurial and pragmatic guidance involving sophisticated intellectual property matters, strategic transactions, M&A deals, litigation management, data privacy, AI, and protecting their market share. I leverage my deep understanding of technology (including in the semiconductor, wireless, video streaming, and medical device sectors) to help high-profile clients generate new business opportunities. My commitment to excellence and innovation have been hallmarks of the guidance I provide to industry leaders including Apple, Roku, Extreme Networks, Marvell Semiconductor, and Medtronic. I also harness these qualities when leading teams, including as former chair of a law firm practice group where I managed more than 75 legal professionals, designed the group’s business development strategy, and oversaw an operating annual budget of $1M.I have been recognized repeatedly as a “leading lawyer” in patent litigation by Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business, the “Top IP Litigators” in California by the Daily Journal, and leading IP lawyer by The Legal 500 (U.S.).
