WORK EXPERIENCE CIVIL CONSTRUCTION (September 1988 to May 2008) Project Management and supervision in the Civil Construction Industry since 1988 with extensive experience in the following fields: • Bulk earthworks for Industrial and Commercial developments including landfill and cut and filling. • Installation of concrete piling for foundations and shoring walls. • Construction of concrete retaining walls and shoring systems including: 1.Diaphragm walls, 2.Contiguous piling 3.Secant piling 4.Timber shoring 5.Sheet piling • Asphalt and concrete pavement works for road widening and intersection works and residential estate developments. • Installation and co-ordination of major services including drainage, sewer, water. • Bulk and detail excavation in all types of material including sandstone, clay, shale, sand etc. CIVIL & MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE (June 2008 to present) •Responsible for the maintenance and repair of the civil, electrical and mechanical assets associated with the CCT O&M Contract. Responsible for the implementation of routine and major periodic maintenance of the Motorway tunnel and facilities. •Analyse and expedite the speedy rectification of plant breakdowns in response to alarms identified by the CCT Motorway Controllers. Be on call for any emergency response activities •Carry out routine maintenance/inspection activities and repair works with the support of in-house staff and by managing specialist subcontractors •Assist in the recording of maintenance data in the computerized Asset Management System for the Project •Induct workers into site safety and environmental conditions, conduct toolbox meetings and oversee the implementation of safe methods of work •Assist with the management of all motorway patrollers, maintenance subcontracts and its administration
