Personal Mission: To explore and conserve the natural world, either by researching wildlife conservation and adaptation strategies, by coordinating and performing natural resource management activities, or by creating products that increase the accessibility and improve our understanding of nature. Personal Summary: I have studied and worked in a variety of different settings and for a variety of different organizations in my academic and working career. I am comfortable doing research in the field or in a lab, creating and using cartographic products and GIS applications, designing and maintaining spatial and relational databases, monitoring and managing wildlife and ecosystems, as well as teaching, writing, and organizing people. My passion is to explore, study, manage, conserve, and advocate for the natural world, while all the while sharing my passion with others: in the field, in the classroom, or via written works and spatial products).
