As the Founder, Owner, and Operator of Motown Taxi, I have built and nurtured a thriving company from the ground up. At Motown Taxi, I have overseen the growth of the business, generating annual sales exceeding half a million dollars. Through effective leadership, I manage a team of 15-20 drivers, two assistant managers, and 5 dispatchers, ensuring the delivery of exceptional service to our customers. I take pride in having conducted over 800 interviews, hiring and training over 200 employees to maintain high standards of performance. My strategic approach and execution have led to an average of rides provided to customers each month. By securing and managing contracts with prominent local and national corporate clients, including Modivcare, Mylan, Monongalia County Schools, Mon Health, West Virginia University Hospital, United Health Care, and Complete Delivery Solutions, I have propelled the business towards continuous growth and success. Moreover, I prioritize compliance with state and federal transportation laws through collaborative efforts with regulators. Beyond my professional endeavors, I serve as a board member of the Mountain Line Transit Authority Citizen Advisory Committee, contributing to the development and improvement of public transportation in the area. I hold a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Business Administration and Management from West Virginia University. During my time at the university, I actively engaged in the Corporate Social Responsibility Club, managing grant distributions totaling to Monongalia County not-for-profit agencies. I also volunteered for city cleanup initiatives in Parkersburg, WV, and managed social media platforms for Women on Wellness, advocating for the well-being of local women.
