Background
About Andrew Vallance
I'm an artist, curator, writer and educator. I studied my Master’s and PhD at the Royal College of Art. I've exhibited work and installations internationally including the Whitechapel Gallery, BFI and IFFR. I co-curate Contact, which produces events (that feature artist and experimental film, expanded cinema and other art forms) including Assembly: A Survey of Recent British Artists’ Film and Video, 2008-13 (Tate Britain), Contact: A Festival of New Experiment Film and Video and Film Talks: 15 Conversations on Experimental Cinema (publication and screening series), which recently culminated in a mini North American tour.
