As a member of EY’s Tax practice in Oceania, I have over 30 years experience providing tax advice to Corporate Australia and Global companies investing in Australia, with a focus on the Mining, Energy and Utilities sectors. More than just a Tax adviser, I work with clients on their business issues, the impact that AI will have on our functions and our people, the need to change the way we use technology as an enabler, or the importance of doing things in a better and smarter way, When I talk about the Future of Tax with CFOs or Global Heads of Tax, I give a different perspective on what tomorrow looks like. I have honed my Tax skills for over 30 years that whilst I am a specialist in Australian tax, I understand how Tax systems work globally and am used regularly by clients to "translate" technical issues across multiple locations. A truly Global Tax Adviser. I am highly regarded for my ability to communicate complex issues in a clear and commercially focused way and to adapt my style to the different audiences I address within an organisation. My clients describe me as understanding the industry they operate in and being focused on delivering strong commercial outcomes.
