Protecting What Matters — With Discipline, Curiosity, and a Cybersecurity Mindset As a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and cybersecurity professional, my path has always been about protecting people — first through communication systems in the military, and now through securing digital environments. With a B.S. in Cybersecurity and real-world experience supporting users and systems in both public and private sectors, I’ve seen firsthand how damaging a cyber incident can be — especially when it affects someone who doesn’t even realize they’re a target. That moment hit hard while working at an MSP, responding to threats that left clients vulnerable — not because they were careless, but because threat actors know how to exploit trust and confusion. It’s what fueled my commitment to this field. Today, I’m deepening my knowledge through the Microsoft MSSA Cybersecurity program and continuing to build out my technical skills in areas like endpoint security, incident response, and systems support. I’m particularly excited about how automation and AI are transforming cyber defense — and I’m actively learning how to use those tools to be more effective and adaptive. I don’t claim to have all the answers — yet — but I’m eager to keep learning, grow with the right team, and contribute wherever I can.
