I specialise in footpath construction and Stage 2 residential groundworks, ensuring everything meets the standards set by the NHBC and other third parties, right through to final handover/adoption. I’m hands on when it comes to making sure every detail is up to spec, from snagging and compliance checks to keeping clients and site managers confident that the job’s not just done, but done properly. Final impressions matter, and I make sure the standard we hand over is one we’re proud of. I work best in teams that care about quality, safety, and getting the job over the line with no shocks or surprises. Whether it’s foundations, drainage, kerbing, or final surfacing, I bring a steady approach, solid leadership, and a commitment to keeping things on track. I have over 15 years experience in construction, with a hands on background across multiple trades. I started in 2007 as a carpenter, completing a full apprenticeship before moving into self-employed kitchen fitting. Over time, I transitioned into shuttering and groundworks, eventually becoming a full time plant and machine operator. Today, I lead groundworks teams as a Foreman, bringing together practical know how, leadership, and a commitment to doing things right. I still operate plant and machinery regularly not just to stay sharp, but to lead by example and stay connected to the job on the ground. I believe good leadership starts with understanding the job from the ground up. I’m proud of the path I’ve taken, earning respect through hard work, consistency, and a focus on quality.
