About Andrew Wegner

This is who I am: The all-encompassing Human Resource Business Partner. Someone who brings hands-on experience with the full employee life cycle and the technical wherewithal to create, refine and implement HR operations that will drive organizations in any industry toward their goals. This is what I do: Partner with people managers to connect the dots between current gaps and needed steps to reach desired goals. To get the best outcomes, I lead the process of assessing root causes, co-creating a solution, and overseeing the implementation—always with an eye toward measuring progress through data collection and analysis. I started my career as an HR department of one when I helped to co-found a new startup company in private education. In this environment, I created a fifteen-page handbook of all standard operating procedures governing our approach to HR. I implemented new sourcing strategies and tools that resulted in an entirely new pipeline from which we drew optimal talent that served the needs of the clientele with whom we worked. This resulted in the company growing twice in size, from 750 independent contractors to 1,500 contractors employed in less than three years.
