The main focus of my practice is dispute resolution, handling multinational litigation and arbitration and being a key member of HFW's Commercial Litigation and International Arbitration groups. I also specialise in commodities / energy disputes leading the LNG Interest Group at HFW. I regularly provide risk management and contract advice to energy companies, investment banks and commodities traders in general in order to try and avoid disputes arising, providing commercial options where possible. I also handle transactional, advisory, regulatory and general contract review matters regularly negotiating and drafting sale and purchase agreements, master agreements, long term offtake contracts, trade financing and credit documentation (including letters of credit, guarantees, repurchase agreements and discounting agreements) for a wide variety of commodities, both physical and financial, in particular, LNG, carbon, oil and biomass.
