About Andrew Wray

I am a Senior Software Engineer and the President & Treasurer of Dense Analysis, an IT non-profit. I possess over 15 years of educational and industry experience. My experience ranges across theoretical computer science, AI, systems level programming, web back end engineering, web front end engineering, mobile app development, marketing, SEO, and public speaking. I have a passion for creating innovative solutions to solve complex problems and have been fortunate to work on projects that have had a positive impact on the world. I have a deep understanding of the software development process and have worked on projects ranging from small startups to large enterprise applications. I am also well-versed in the latest technologies and trends in the software engineering space. I have been a maintainer of some FOSS projects for a number of years, most importantly ALE.(https://github.com/dense-analysis/ale) I enjoy making regular FOSS contributions, especially those that enhance the developer experience. My work is an important part of my life, and I couldn't imagine a career I would be happier with. When I'm not working on software projects or running my non-profit, I enjoy performing poetry and music on the side. It's a great way to express my creativity and keep my mind sharp.
