About Andries van Dijk

As a Director Technology Strategy, focusing on the Consumer & Industry Products market, I enjoy helping my clients getting more value from their Technology investments. In my experience, the world of Technology is changing fast and the way companies organize their IT needs to evolve to remain relevant and innovative. My client projects range from assessments on current IT organizations (diagnostics) to complete transformation of the IT Operating Model. The use of digital technologies and new ways of working like Agile, are part of that scope.I combine my work for clients with a role as Technology Research & Insights Lead and CIO Program Lead. This gives me the opportunity to research the latest digital technologies, which often leads to publications and points of view (see publications). In October 2017, I released an extensive point of view "Digital era Technology Operating Models".From 2012 - 2017, I had the opportunity to lead the NL Technology Strategy service line, responsible for growing and managing the practice (45 people). My academic background is in Econometrics (Masters degree from Erasmus University Rotterdam) and Information science (Ph.D from Technical University Eindhoven).
