About Andris Lipenitis

Already as a child, I had a passion for electronics. At that time it expressed as me taking apart broken electronics and tinkering with motors whenever I could find one. As I grew older this tinkering evolved into me fixing my broken electronics. During my time in high school, I found out that I was quite good at programming. The last push to choose this career path was my high school math teacher organizing excursions to engineering universities. I saw a potential and went for it.When I applied for my bachelor education, I had no idea about the so-called Aalborg model for teaching, but quite quickly I fell in love with it. During my studies (BSc and MSc) not only I have been having theoretical courses, but I have also been working on 9 projects where we got to exercise our theoretical skills from the courses, in order to create real-world embedded systems.(A short description of each project can be found in Accomplishments section)
