About Andry Setiawan
Andry Setiawan holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley. He began his career in Los Angeles before returning to Indonesia in 2001, where he held senior leadership roles at Chandra Asri and Tripolyta Indonesia Tbk, helping establish Chandra Asri Petrochemical Tbk. as Indonesia’s largest integrated petrochemical company by 2011. He then led the development of Indonesia’s Ultra Super Critical (USC) power plant in partnership with Indonesia Power and Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO), serving as Finance Director and later President Director of PT Indo Raya Tenaga. The project earned multiple international awards for its environmental standards. In 2020, Andry was appointed Director of Investment at PT PPA and later at PT Danareksa (Persero) to lead the transformation into a National Asset Management Company, overseeing 40+ SOEs. Since June 2021, he served as Managing Director of Investments at the Indonesia Investment Authority (INA), and in May 2025, was promoted to Chief Investment Officer with expanded responsibilities across key investment sectors.
