With over 15 years of experience in the retail sector, I have developed a diverse skill set that combines hands-on expertise with leadership and customer service. Starting my journey in the industry as a Shop Assistant at McDonald's, I quickly realised the impact of providing exceptional customer experiences and the value of teamwork. I leveraged these insights to effectively manage high-pressure situations and perform multifaceted tasks with efficiency and precision. My move to Tesco as a General Assistant marked a significant turning point in my career, allowing me to hone my organisational skills and refine my ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Emphasising a customer-centric approach, I developed and nurtured positive relationships with customers, adding value to their shopping experiences. In 2016, I was entrusted with the role of Team Leader for the frontend and petrol station at Tesco. Managing a team of 40+ associates, I dedicated myself to fostering a supportive and knowledgeable team. I took pride in guiding the team through complex tasks, optimising shop functionality, and upholding Tesco's high standards. The culmination of my commitment and dedication came in December 2021 when I was promoted to Team Leader at Tesco Mobile. This role reinforced my leadership abilities, underscoring my capacity to drive a team towards success and deliver exceptional customer service. It affirmed my ability to adapt and grow within a company, driving forward with a keen focus on excellence in the retail industry. I am eager to continue leveraging my leadership skills and my passion for customer service, thriving on new challenges and opportunities for growth within the industry.
