Background

About Andy A.

I work with UK SMEs to design and maintain practical, proportionate management systems that support real operations rather than add unnecessary complexity.Through Quality Systems Consultancy Limited, I support organisations with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 implementation, auditing, and ongoing health and safety support. The focus is always on systems that are workable day-to-day, reflect how the business actually operates, and remain sustainable over time. Most of the organisations I work with operate in practical, operational environments such as recycling and waste management, engineering and fabrication, warehousing and distribution, electrical installation, and multi-trade maintenance. In these settings, proportionate control, clarity, and consistency matter more than over-engineered systems.Typical areas of support include:• ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 implementation and maintenance• Internal and supplier auditing• Health and safety management and support• System review and improvement• Ongoing compliance and advisory supportThe objective is not simply certification, but helping organisations build systems that strengthen control, support confident decision-making, and remain aligned with how the business operates in practice.
