About Andy Bauer

At several points in our lives we are faced with poignant choices that take us down a path we had not envisioned before. My most pivotal professional juncture happened in 1995. Although fairly successful in the health club industry, the relationships there tended to be short term; once my clients could “go their own way,” my job was done. I craved more than that. Fortunately, my mom was working as a financial advisor and invited me to apprentice with her. I saw firsthand how to nurture relationships through the generations. They trusted the way she helped shape their future, and I strove to achieve the same with them. Many of their sons, daughters and grandchildren have since become my clients themselves; and now, they too enjoy our continued relationship. Most of my original clients worked in higher education and medicine. Today they are in many different fields. Many have small businesses. Life happens quickly. My daughter and son are 10 and 9. One, or both of them, may be in the same business as I. Or not, let’s see what happens. Thank you for reading.
