MSc Graduate in Green Building from the Centre for Alternative Technology. Founding Director of Jengo Sustainable Design - an independent structural engineering and specialist sustainability consultancy. Expert in low carbon design and natural building techniques. Specialist in low impact foundation and substructure design and creator of substructure assessment tool. Expert in heritage materials and buildings. Trustee for the Centre for Alternative Technology (CAT)- a leading internationally renowned environmental charity, World-Leading Eco Centre and foremost providers of postgraduate environmental education. CAT has been leading in creating transformative change for over 50 years. Self builder of zero carbon house using straw bale, traditional earth plasters and renewable technologies. Promoter and teacher of other natural building techniques such as cob, hempcrete and roundwood timber framing.
