About Andy Bell

An experienced, proven and trusted technical and people manager with over 15 years’ experience and success working within enterprise scale IT environments for Financial, Pharmaceutical and government customers. Specialism in IBM MQ/Message Broker and other Middleware technologies, predominantly on virtual and physical Unix/Windows Operating systems, I have a strong bias for innovation and delivery to stakeholder and employer expectations. Highly adept and proficient working in both hands-on and team lead positions, I feel one of my strongest attributes is my ability to pitch to all levels on what can often be highly complex technical problems or implementations. This has been used to forge a reputation for delivery amongst my peers, and led to fiscal and time savings for the people I consider to be my key stakeholders. I consider myself to have been extremely fortunate to have had a holistic career in IT Infrastructure to date, working from the ground up in terms of how an IT ecosystem is built and configured. I have also had the benefit of diversifying into the project delivery and managerial side of infrastructure operations. For this reason, I am as comfortable talking to network technicians about the relative nuances of different cable types, as I am pitching at exec/board level about the next game changing idea. The way we do business has changed dramatically over the past two decades with more focus then ever put on automated, repeatable,compliant, flexible and reliable digital services to underpin the key operations of many large businesses. I have built up the right depth of expertise in the right fields to ensure these aspirations can be put into practice.
