About Andy Bratten

I have over 20 years of experience as a construction professional. I started my first construction business during college; and gained experience in preconstruction, project management, and post construction. I have experience as an Executive Recruiter where I delivered top talent to many of the largest most reputable commercial contractors in the United States; primarily sought project managers, project estimators, superintendents, project executives, and other executive professionals with experience on $50million plus projects (e.g. sporting event stadiums, healthcare, higher learning, religious buildings, energy projects, and theme park venues), as well as professionals with “big box” and “retail” construction experience. Prior to coming to Honkamp Krueger, I worked as a Revenue Agent for the State of South Dakota where i reviewed and audited commercial contracts to ensure contractors, material suppliers, and service providers were in compliance with South Dakota Tax law. I have since worked as a construction audit consultant primarily focused on construction engagements and providing related guidance to clients across several industries which include college and university, retail, and government projects.
