About Andy Brown

I am employed as the Program Coordinator for the Ottawa County Recovery Court (division of the 20th Judicial Circuit Court) and am responsible for leading a multi-disciplinary team of criminal justice and substance abuse treatment professionals. Our team has distinguished itself at the national, state, and regional levels and is honored to have been selected as one of nine mentor courts in the United States, for 2017-2022 by the National Association of Drug Court Professionals. I have demonstrated experience in program design, management, and evaluation, grant writing and administration, adult experiential learning, and facilitation. I have been awarded over $15 million dollars in federal and state grant funding, and regularly deliver conference presentations, provide technical assistance to courts, organize and host state and regional training events, and teach as adjunct faculty at an area college. I am a Fellows with the National Center for State Courts (2018) and hold Master’s Degrees in Social Work (2017) and Public Administration (2006). I have a strong interest in training and development and am certified to administer and interpret a number of professional development assessments (e.g, MBTI, DiSC, CPI-260, Hogan, etc.). I am always looking to connect with people in similar and complementary professions.
