About Andy Brunskill

Seasoned operator and leader in theatre, VR, events, film and TV. Co-founder of Existent - do anything, with anyone, anywhere. Existent is a VC-backed startup solving the challenge of quickly and iteratively integrating all the myriad immersive technologies for a more meaningful, real-feeling end experience. As Co-founder I, amongst a great many other co-founder-y roles, raised VC funding, built the team, secured premises and led on GTM. Get in touch if you'd like to know more - andy@existent.com. Prior to Existent I was also a Director and creative leader working across theatre, film, VR, games and events. I have directed plays, installations, parades, youth theatre, and community projects. I have directed Dance for the 2012 Cultural Olympiad and created puppetry for movies. I was Associate Director of War Horse in the West end from 2015-2016. I created the puppetry for the music video for "Daddy" by Coldplay from their album "Everyday Life", Produced by Aardman Animations (Wallace and Gromit, Chicken Run, Morph). I have worked at most of the major theatres in the UK including the National Theatre, Young Vic, Old Vic. I have also worked at universities and drama schools including: Mountview, East 15, GSA and St Mary’s. I can consult on an ambitious creative project you might be trying to get off the ground, develop concepts or create something entirely from scratch.
