About Andy Campbell

Andy’s passion for the landscaping industry started at a young age. He bought his first mower at the age of ten from a garage sale and began to cut grass for neighbors. By word of mouth, his clientele started to grow and he adopted the name ‘A Kid and a Mower’ simply because that’s how everyone knew him. His hard work and attention to detail gained the support of many and he was able to grow from year to year. With a knack for business and a love for his work he decided to form Campbell Landscaping LLC in 2010. In 2012, Andy graduated from The Ohio State University’s Agricultural Technical Institute with a degree in Landscape Management. During this time he hired his first full-time employee to help him manage the work while he attended school, he is very proud that this employee still works with him today. Andy says that running Campbell Landscaping has been both rewarding and challenging, one of the best parts being that he gets to be his own boss. He welcomes every opportunity to learn about the different aspects of landscaping, management, business, and customer service. Managing employees and servicing customers fairly and effectively will always be two of his top priorities. Campbell Landscaping is constantly looking for new ways to grow and one of the key elements is finding and sustaining quality employees.
