About Andy Campbell

Over the last 20 years, Andy has amassed a wealth of experience in business start-ups and scale ups. Andy has concluded over £35m in international contracts, secured £2m in venture capital, led an MBO and been responsible for the strategic vision, creation, planning, implementation and management of several digital media businesses, specifically within the Video Games sector. In 1998 Andy was runner up as Scotland’s Young Entrepreneur of the Year. In 2014, Andy was engaged by Elevator to oversee the delivery of a new, state of the art Centre for Entrepreneurship in Aberdeen. Andy now acts as Commercial Director and oversees both the commercial and strategic direction of the company. In 2022, Andy became a Founding Trustee of The Elevator Foundation, a Charity dedicated to supporting young people with funding at the start of their entrepreneurial journey. Separately, Andy is a strong ambassador for STEM education hoping to inspire future generations of Scientists and Engineers. Andy works with the International Space School Educational Trust (ISSET), NASA Astronauts and staff to deliver STEM focussed educational programmes for Schools and Universities, sending experiments to the International Space Station. Andy is also a Founding Trustee of the charity, Paisley Community Trust, delivering community focused regeneration for Paisley, aiming to build a new cinema in the town. In addition Andy holds a number of Mentor positions including Stratonauts where he was responsible for sending a Haggis to the edge of Space!
