Educated as a Chemical Engineer, licensed PE as a Mechanical Engineer, with broad experience including Electrical and Civil Engineering. Worked in the businesses of nuclear power, chemical manufacturing, and pilot plants. Held a Senior Reactor Operator's (SRO) license for 6 years. Experienced as an immediate supervisor of technical staff including engineers, engineering technicians, licensed nuclear operators, and crafts such as electricians, mechanics, carpenters, welders, steel erectors, security techs, I&C techs, steam fitters, plumbers, concrete finishers. Managed functions of Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Construction, and sub-contracting. Also administrative experience developing plans for quality control, ISO calibration and preventive maintenance, member of Onsite Safety, Offsite Review and Site Development Committees. Audited nuclear industry power plants for INPO. Acted liason to the NRC for license exams, developed and revised operator training programs. Developed methods of scheduling Operational Surveillance Tests, wrote and revised thousands of operating procedures. Developed systems of engineering nomenclature, labeling, standardization, human factoring, man-machine interface, drawings and operating instructions, training programs - both tecnical and safety related.
