15 years ago, Andy Cato - Grammy-award winning Groove Armada DJ - sold the rights to his songs to buy a farm and join the regenerative farming revolution. In 2019, alongside George Lamb and Edd Lees, he founded Wildfarmed, a pioneering regenerative farming and food business. Wildfarmed is on a mission to transform lunches and landscapes - at scale and at pace. The business is now producing wheat in partnership with 100 UK and French farmers, in line with Wildfarmed’s Regenerative Standards. They’ve built a 500+ community of bakeries, restaurants, schools and sports stadiums - including the likes of Franco Manco, ASK Italian and M&S – that now use its regenerative wheat. Its first range of own-brand regenerative bread is launching in Waitrose in May 2024. As a result of his commitment to regenerative farming in France and the UK, Andy has been knighted with the French Chevalier de l’Orde du Mérite Agricole and awarded the 2020 Agro-ecological innovation prize.
