About Andy Dark

Having returned in summer 2021 from an amazing 7 years long experience in the Bordeaux area of France creating literally a business from a ruin and learning a new language, I’m back in the UK and I've taken up the next challenge by rejoining Promethean! After leaving the Education arena with years of experience as a teacher, an adviser and a consultant, I entered the commercial world with open eyes. I successfully supported sales into schools directly and indirectly and successfully used my experience to 'straddle' the space between end user and supplier. I am an educationalist at heart, my personal aims are to support the improved and consistent use of technology to raise standards in schools and to ensure schools have a free choice in the technology they adopt. Be it in a role in a Local Authority or with a commercial company, the ultimate achievement is to make an impact on successful technological adoption. Right now, there are available solutions that support exactly that aim and I can directly attribute technology and intervention as being responsible for increased standards of learning.
