As an experienced audit professional, I have built and managed diverse, multi-locational multi-cultural audit teams. I have developed risk based audit plans providing assurance to the Board as to the adequacy and effectiveness of controls across the business, in conjunction with aligning the focus of the audit department with the priorities of the business, providing consultative services to the business where relevant. I have experience reporting into multiple Audit Committees, attending and presenting to these committees on a quarterly basis. I have met on a regular basis with regulators, in the UK as well as overseas and have ensured all requirements and best practices of the regulators, as well the International IA professional standards, have been satisfied.
