An emotionally intelligent public sector leader, with deep expertise in investigation, stakeholder management safeguarding and training delivery. Experienced and confident public speaker, passionate about coaching and mentoring. I am popular, pragmatic and well organised and previously I worked as an Operational Crime Trainer within the Learning and Development Department of Norfolk and Suffolk Constabularies developing and delivering bespoke training to both student police officers and skilled detectives alike. Previously as a Detective Sergeant, I worked across a spectrum of different policing environments gaining invaluable and extensive knowledge and expertise. I have excellent written and verbal communication skills and am well-versed in engaging with both internal and external stakeholders of all levels. Throughout my policing career I was passionately victim-focused and as a trained Family Liaison Officer was deployed to both the 7/7 bombings and the Grenfell Tower Fire. Furthermore I was also the designated Family Liaison Coordinator for Operation Magenta which is the on-going investigation into Gosport Memorial Hospital. Finally I have gained much Major Investigation Team experience across numerous complex and serious cases, I have HOLMES knowledge and given Crown and Coroners Court evidence on countless occasions. I was the Case Officer for the 1st successful prosecution of Human Trafficking and Child Sexual Exploitation within CPS East Region (Prosecution Counsel being KC Riel Karmy-Jones) where the 3 convicted defendants received a total of 28-years imprisonment.
