About Andy Grady
I have been with BAM Nuttall since 2001 where I started with a short sub contract before taking full time employment in 2002 as Electrical Supervisor. I became involved in the BAM behavioural safety culture programme (Beyond Zero) in 2012 and have helped change the culture within the workplace for the better. I am also involved in the delivery of CITB’s Get it Right Initiative. In 2018, I took the decision to move into H&S following successful completion of NEBOSH General and Construction certificates. In this position I have worked on some flagship projects including Ordsall Chord, Highland Enhancement Programme, London City Airport, CP6 - York and currently, Transpennine Route Upgrade. In all of these projects I have been supporting senior management through site inspections, reporting and incident investigations and providing Mental Health Support to anybody who requested it. Always looking for innovations and ways to keep all my colleagues safer and healthier.
